Akwa Ibom has received approximately 1,932,000,000,000 (1.9Trillion) in Federal allocation in 7 years

Governor of Rivers state of Nigeria, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike had said that Buhari has been paying oil states their derivation funds owed since 1999. He made the statement during the commissioning of the River state law school campus in Port Harcourt on November 18^th, 2022 in an event attended by legal bigwigs and political obomonkunku in the country led by the Attorney general of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Mallam Ababakar Malami.

Governor Wike while making his speech thanked President Buhari for paying oil states their derivation outstanding of 23 years ago. He stated that he has been able to build massive infrastructures in Rivers State like the 9^th flyover bridge that was recently commissioned by Mr. Peter Obi, the law school campus, the Peter Odili’s courthouse, many road infrastructures, state of the art health facilities and others

One will wonder if Rivers state could achieve these feat that places them on top of the list of Nigeria’s most performing states, where is Akwa Ibom, the state with the second highest federal allocation after Delta state?

Akwa Ibomites needs to face hilltop mansion and demand accountability with immediate effect.
