Chioma & Davido son: the mystery unraveled

Ifeanyi
 Adeleke
 aged 3years, is dead

Ifeanyi David Adeleke, whose birth was a controversy as a result of the unknown relationship status of the Afropop singer, David Adeleke and the chef, Chioma Rowland as at the time their love escapades went viral after the singer released a song "Assurance" which the public believed was a promise of marriage that Davido made to Chioma as judge by the song's lyrics itself.

The duo’s love story sparked more public uproar and enfired the debate as to whether David will truly marry Chioma shortly after rumours of the chef’s pregnancy to the singer went viral on Instagram and spread within minutes across all social media platforms including major media houses and blogs in 2018. The pregnancy rumour, which turned out to be true later sparked another debate and criticisms alike as to whether the duo should be congratulated seeing that they are expecting a baby out of wedlock.

While one side of the society defended the duo saying that it’s nobody’s business whether the baby came out of wedlock as babies are generally God’s blessing and should be received without bias, the other part maintained that public figures like that are meant to set good example by following marital customs and doing the right thing before having a baby, so this section expected Davido to officially engage and wed Chioma to right the wrong and make their baby and their union acceptable to them.

With different public opinions and ideas from different quarters on the child while it was still yet a fetus, it became clear that the child will be a controversial public figure all his life and it indeed occurred so till death.

After birth, the debate rose again and the society talked in different fronts with the baby being unaware of these events and unfortunately, will never be aware of what society went through during his inception, delivery and childhood, having gone to the realm no one expected him to at such a young age.

Fast forward to the time Davido’s relationship with Chioma took a new turn in what the society called breakup, the baby Ifeanyi Adeleke was still in the public’s eyes and never misses any available chance to make media headlines in a 200 million people occupied territory where majority depends on the media for information.

At the turn of event, Ifeanyi parent’s relationship started recovering from the breakup as beam of light started filtering through the differences that separated them for almost two years. It was at this relationship recovery period that the greatest shock they will ever recover from hit them like an atomic bomb, the death of their 3-year-old controversial son, Ifeanyi.

Insiders claim that the boy died after drowning in his father’s swimming pool when no adult was watching over him. As at the time of this writing this article, there have been no official from either of the child’s parents confirming his death or debunking it, but there have been major reactions and grave silence in the air to relay the message of the boy’s death, such as disabling the boy’s 50,000 followers Instagram page exclusively managed by both parents, Wizkid’s deletion of promotional tweet of his album in solidarity with his colleague in the music industry who is rumored to have lost a son Ifeanyi as well public and media outcry, expression of shock, condolence messages and prayers for the Adeleke family.

The mystery: controversial birth, controversial death, what a boy!

It is accepted by the public, though not yet officially, that Davido’s Ifeanyi Adeleke, aged 3 years, mothered by Chioma Rowland, is dead. This, according to many people across social media platforms, is one of the most painful news in the country in recent times. But what actually happened?   Such a preventable death, or was it actually? Such affluence, wealth and power running in the family, because in politics, the family is at the top with a state governor, in music, it is at the top with an international superstar being the boy’s father himself, in business, they are at the top with a CEO of a multinational company for a grandpa amongst others.

What could they not afford? Dedicated experienced adult caregiver? A personal security team that must make sure of the child’s safety at all times! Dedicated nannies to babysit cook and ensure food safety!  A CCTV coverage monitoring team for all the open facilities unsafe for children alone to ensure the child does not get in danger! A half wall around the swimming pool to grant access into the pool to only adults!

Let’s analyze the Mystery of Ifeanyi’s death

1. The enemy within:

Just as wealth attracts friends, it attracts enemies likewise. Could it be that someone in Davido’s inside team bitterly hates the singer, his family or the boy Ifeanyi and wants them pains and agony always? Normally extreme haters can go any length to perpetuate evils that will bring the victim sorrows and agonies. This are the same evil and dark hearted fellows that will appear the most innocent, the most loving and caring when under view but a second privacy they are planning and masterminding evils, also, there is no amount of goodwill or good deeds that can change a despiser from targeting evils against its victim and this is the dark side of human world that will never goes extinct as long as the human-race persist on earth.

If a despiser is truly in Davido’s team, then it is possible he or she masterminded and perfected Ifeanyi’s death, choosing the method that will obviously make investigation extremely difficult and increasing the chances of getting away with the atrocity

It is also very important to fathom the level of such hatred and wickedness because the hater-perpetrator of this evil most likely was watching boy drown to death from a remote unsuspecting location. While this possibility may not totally be ruled out, it is also not possible that an insider hater masterminded Ifeanyi’s death.

2. Family Covenant:

Everyone believe that Ifeanyi’s death was avoidable if not for anything at least for the fact that there is nothing his parent, talk less of the extended family members, could not afford to secure his safety all through his life. For a boy of such influence and background, well cherished and commands natural love from all and sundry to have easily died from drowning leaves not just questions but speculations in the chest of everyone that give it a brief thought.

Most Nigerian families believe that rich people belong to one or more secret groups from where they seek continuous wealth, protection and long life to enjoy their wealth, especially the poor ones in local communities and villages even uptown and cities. It is in Nigeria that the issue of ritual killing, and cultism is rampant.

It is a belief, whether officially believed or not, that celebrities, music stars and politicians are comprised mainly of the men of the underworld. These insinuations are generally unproven and baseless and because of this, it is generally left off for event and circumstances to reveal more explanations and shed more light of the underworld activities. And unfortunately, they do. Real stories which often are self-confessions of belonging to secret societies, giving up family members and loved ones as sacrifices to secret societies and exchanging some very valuable part of one’s life with the dark world for power, wealth, success or protection are not entirely rare in Nigeria, however, one must be very careful when pointing accusing fingers at someone as belonging to the underworld as it is definitely not every successful person that got success from evil or dark practices.

For most people who may not speak publicly, their mind is already made up that Ifeanyi’s death is a result of what the parent or either of them perpetuates in darkness and as such, deserve no sympathy.

Well, in another turn of event, in situations the Davido’s family is entirely innocent of such practices and clean of such accusations, then the society itself is becomes a huge load to anyone who aims for success. Yes, because every successful person, in Nigeria and other places, have registered some aspect of their personal lives with the public bureau of unfounded speculations.

Popularity normally comes with the price of having to ignore public views and opinions on one’s private life, the very locus of success which many untrained ones fall victim of and misses the largesse and sweetness that success brings. For Ifeanyi, he could never have thought nor needed to be afraid of someday becoming a food to a certain super force his parent might remain loyal to because all he was born into and experienced in his short life was amazing love that anyone would wish to receive. Now that it turn this way, nothing goes for nothing, if he actually became a food, wherever he is, he’d be grateful it ended early even before he became conscious of the human world, having escaped the horrors of evil wealth and power that certainly has expiry date.

3. Time and Chance:

Another possibility of Ifeanyi’s death, which is very likely but also stands the chance of being least considered is time and chance. Even the Christian holy Book says times and chance happens to everyone irrespective of age, background or race.

It is very possible that Ifeanyi just slipped into the swimming pool at exactly the same time none is watching leading to his death. However, some people will argue the possibility of an adult lacking in the home of an influential celebrity who is always seen with people. From members of his music team, to domestic staff, to Ifeanyi’s personal nanny, cleaners, laundry persons, chefs and others, what is the possibility of his death being chance?

In conclusion, Ifeanyi’s death as it stands now is still a deep mystery that will become more interesting in the days to come as this is just the beginning.

Meanwhile, may his young innocent soul torment its killer before resting in peace!

2023: Is Igbo Man to be Trusted with Power?

The reservation has led a serious fight against the obidient movement and the Peter Obi Campaign effort in the fight to Aso Rock in 2023.  We know very well that the matter started about 58 years ago, shortly after the birth of the New Country called Nigeria in 1960, that the first Military coup that ushered in Military era was initiated by an Igbo man. Not long after that, the Civil war broke out in the new formed country, and it became the war of Nigeria versus Igbos. These two remarkable but very sad histories of the country with Igbo as the central theme has been the reason for the fear of an Igbo man in the pol...

Peter Obi: What Nigeria needs is not a Leader but a Deliverer ~ Bishop Oyedepo

Nigeria needs a Deliverer not just a Leader ~ Oyedepo The founder of Living Faith Church Aka Winners Chapel has declared that Nigeria needs more than a leader but a deliverer in 2023.  He stated this during a sermon he delivered on Thursday December 8th, 2022, during the Church's annual Shiloh conference that held in Cannaanland, Ota, Ogun State in Nigeria's Southwest geopolitical zone, a region which have produced a contending candidate for the office of the President of Nigeria in 2023 general election, in the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC, who is touted to be too old, fragile and deeply corrupt; to become Nigeria's president or at least fit into the description of a 'deliverer' which Nigeria needs   In his words, Oyedepo said "I warned you in 2015, I warned you in 2015, that we are heading for a [collapse], the only thing now that brings Nigeria honor is the Church. Nigeria now does not need a leader but a deliverer"   The bishop ma...
