Tinubu lied about building Lagos. Peter Obi did instead, See proof
At
the Presidential Debate held yesterday in Abuja, Peter Obi for the first time
in 30years narrated how he became Chairman of TINCAN Port Apapa, during the
regime of General Sani Abaca, Nigeria's most dreaded dictator to even rule the
country.
Peter
said the Apapa port was congested and disturbed business in the country with
economic becoming unbearable and to solve the problem, he and other 100
businessmen incubated the idea of visiting the head of state to discuss
possible solutions to the problem, on hearing the idea, 70 of the businessmen
reiterated and discouraged the idea, fearing that Abacha "will get them
locked up". However, this did not deter Peter and his bold colleagues.
When they finally visited the dictator, Peter was asked to speak to the deadly
dictator on the challenges and possible solutions.
According
to Peter Obi himself, after Abacha listened to him in less than 2-minutes, he
(Abacha) banged on his table in the office, called for and ordered his minister
that, "that boy (30-year-old Peter Obi who was talking to Abacha) is the
TINCAN port chairman. At the statement, everyone clapped and cheered Abacha.
After a short while, the Port was decongested and businesses began to spring
into Lagos, which later made the city Nigeria's economic headquarters. 3-years
later, after the death of General Abacha, Bola Tinubu returned from trading
hard drugs while in exile and contested for the seat of the governor of Lagos
State in 1999 where is manipulated the electoral system to win.
Comments:
Peter Obi was Chairman of Tincan Port under Gen. Sani Abacha while Tinubu was on “exile”. He contributed to building Lagos before Tinubu became governor in 1999. Go and verify
That we are only hearing about Obi’s role at Tincan Island Ports is yet another proof that he is a silent achiever. To think that this has only just become public knowledge. Is there anything Obi can’t do?
So Tinubu dey use “OWNER OF LAGOS” threaten former TinCan chairman even before he became Lagos state governor
